An estimated 130,000,000 people were removed from India's voter rolls this year.
It's the largest amount of people who have had voting rights revoked in human history, with many claiming it's government censorship.
Hindi is such a complex language to learn if you don't grow up speaking it. Each number from 1 to 99 has its own unique name, you need to learn how to gender nonsentient objects, and some translations don't make sense, for example instead of "fascist" we say "pradhan mantri"
I cannot blame people for being extremely pessimistic about the stories Zdarsky has in store for the coming years, since as others have pointed out they feel overly derivative of the 2000s. The fact that Armageddon insists that a "Civil War 3" is coming does not help at all.
@ironvell Yeah, I mostly just skimmed past the pages to see what's going on in it. But never put any effort into actually reading it because I genuinely didn't like that art style.
@sivaranjani10 Also, Tony being in the avengers *under* Peter's leadership feels utterly wrong anyway. I love Peter, but that's a dynamic that I just can't accept. So that's my silver lining.
@muldersckully Exactly, he'd probably be a great Iron man writer if he actually does a deep dive and sees what makes the character interesting pre-civil war and MCU.
@muldersckully I think Chip's problem with Tony is that it feels like he thinks the only way to write an interesting Tony is to write him unfavorably (the opposite of how he writes DD, Spidey and Cap). But I'm still willing to give him a chance (although I'll probably end up regretting it).
You can tell Zdarsky only read Spider-Man growing up
He clearly shows no love or history with the avengers
He's just not a good pick as the next writer for the team
The moment he stepped in, he removed all the "Avengers" iconography, not even keeping a single founding member
