@Exumbroski @holinka It's just the standard anticheat tech in most modern games. Unfortunately. But Riot using it very publicly and not just by a 2 second popup of BattlEye or some other anticheat engine before the game launches is what makes it so popular to lash on them for that.

@Exumbroski @holinka The reason why Riot gets so much backlash over Vanguard is that they are very publicly stating that they have that and are one of the largest games around. It's not even Tencent related because many Tencent games have Kernel's and aren't getting even half as much backlash.

@Exumbroski @holinka And it's not me defending Kernel level anticheats, they can be dangerous if misused, I'm just fascinated about how so many people scream about the riot one without understanding that they've had the same exact tech 20 times over in their pcs for years now.

@Exumbroski @holinka Just a question, have you played any of the major AAA multiplayer titles in the last give or take 5-10 years? Because most of them have kernel level anticheats, people just made the Riot one extremelly overblown.

Tryndamere on stream said they plan on it to release before 2030.

@CMValrak You know that the boxes/books from years ago didnt have that old logo anyway? I have, right now, a box and a book from 7th and 8th editions and neither of them had the GW logo. Now they get a large Games Workshop text, instead of no text/GW logo at all. Nothing really changed.

The content will be across streaming and video platforms. Twitch, youtube etc. It's about live streams, since that's how the sentence starts.

@renderuntoczer @jackpesaurus Depends if we're talking Great Crusade fleets or a 40k Guard/Marines Invasion fleet.
An average GC fleet will be done in days. 40k IOM would be slower, but it all depends on the forces assigned. In 40k Cadians/Krieg with Fleet bombardment and Astartes support will also be quick.
