@CathyWurzer Cathy and @MPRnews you mentioned on air today that absentee ballots can be returned to polling places today. Not true!! They need to be returned to the election office that issued them (usually the address on the envelope). Signed, your friendly election judge.
@webster Everything about this is terrible. The quote on the car is sending me over the edge – that’s not a quote from MLK! It’s not even a real quote period!
@ElizShockman Preschool is closing early today, reduced hours tomorrow, and closed on Friday! And I could see tomorrows plan changing if it gets worse.
@AngelaDavisMPR Like one of your callers, I took a solo camping trip this fall while my husband took care of our daughter. The camper cabins in Minnesota state parks are a fantastic way to do this and enjoy some solitude in nature.
@Ximena_Bustillo@NPR I guess the word “now” in both sentences is what’s unclear — they can’t both be “now.” (The context of the story makes it clear, but still.)
@maxnesterak@mbrodkorb “Protect life” and “ab**tion stops a beating heart” are perennial conservative talking points. This billboard flips them into a message about school shootings. But it’s a lot of mental gymnastics for a quick drive by on a billboard.
@Stowydad@mnstatefair Does the state fair have any way of sending emergency communications to attendees? I am signed up for Ramsey County emergency texts but didn’t get anything.
@gretakaul We got this same email except the subject line said “application” instead of appeal. Same body. So, like someone else said, my guess is that it’s probably a mistake in the subject line.
