Before he could respond, she turned away. “I should go check on Jessa.”

@SaltAndSails She was caught by surprise as she fell on top of him, her green eyes widened as he roared her name.
“Oh, I’m sorry!” The princess tried to gather her bearings, yet her breath hitched in her throat as her gaze met his.

@SaltAndSails In the opportune moment, Juliette knocked the sword from Philip’s grasp. Dropping her own sword, she threw a punch to his chest, knocking him to the deck.

@SaltAndSails Oh, but little did he know she had the advantage. Sword in one hand, she used her free hand to flick her wrist – sending a stream of ice cold sea water onto the deck, knocking the flask from the pirate’s hand.

@SaltAndSails She ducked down onto her knees, her sword blocking his from slicing her through the head. Juliette pushed until she was back on her feet. Saying nothing, the princess leapt back and attacked once more.

@SaltAndSails “He was to /me/!” Philip had successfully gotten a rise out of the princess, who thrust her sword toward his chest. Of course, he blocked her, and she whirled away before he had the chance to strike.

@SaltAndSails “You’re one to talk, /pirate/.” Juliette struck her steel against his, a fierce look in her eyes.

“You killed the man I once cared for. The honorable one.” She swung harder at Philip, eager to best him to prove her point.

@SaltAndSails “She’s hurt, no thanks to you. Resting.” Juliette replied, drawing her sword and placing herself in the perfect stance to defend his blow.

“Don’t patronize me, Philip. I’ll go wake the bear if you do.”
