Today our reception group @BnvilleVillage continued to develop their skills with hammers, creating beautiful hapa zome Christmas trees and building dens. There was mud soup, mud pies and a whole lot more mud!! 😆 UK forest schoolers you know what it’s like at this time of year!!
Huge thanks to the brilliant teaching staff at @BnvilleVillage who fully embrace all weathers and value the play and learning it brings to the children - even when it means 30 very muddy pairs of boots and waterproof all in ones to deal with. We appreciate you so much!
Today’s beautifully crisp weather was perfect for exploring hibernation with our reception class from @BnvilleVillage They loved playing hibernating hedgehogs! We discussed how to use hammers safely and built their our own brilliant parkland dens complete with campfire kitchen!
We are looking for an amazing outdoor ed instructor. Active Ciitizens is built around social interaction, communication, emotional & mental health whilst giving our pupils life opportunities that challenge & build confidence, #vacancies#OutdoorEducation

Last Friday learners from the Learning for Life pathway attended a @WildLivesFS session in @WarleyWoods1. They participated in activities such Orienteering, Den building and a Scavenger hunt. They had lots of fun as well as developing their vocabulary @AfPE @CliftonSGO
@BnvilleVillage Thank you RS! We absolutely loved having you with us this term! The children and teachers are brilliant, a real credit to the school. And we definitely all discovered how much fun we can have in the rain! 😆🌧️
Join us for a family bushcraft day in Warley Woods on Sunday 19th February. This fun and unique experience is led by bushcrafter and forest school leader, Bracken, who will guide and support you to develop outdoor skills for your future family adventures! https://t.co/envKNlLKz9
This fallen piece of birch made heart shape tree cookies! 💚 Such a happy discovery last Fri with yr1 @BnvilleVillage perfect for #childrensmentalhealthweek where chd learnt how to safely use bow saw & drill - boosting confidence, self-esteem & overcoming fears along the way.
Today was one of those glorious days at forest school where everyone is so relaxed and happily lost in playing & creating. It was an absolute joy to see everyone so focused and engaged in lots of different, individual ways, all doing exactly what they needed to do at that time.
