I am in UK right now and I can smell the bullshit of Marcos and Romualdez from here. Kahit sinong troll pa ihire nila they cannot change what the majority perceive of them. #ProtectVPSara
Binastos kuno ang isang artista, kagulo ang mga Yellows, Pinks and ulalos.
Binabastos ang soberanya, Saligang Batas at mga ibang batas ("bend the law"), walang imik.
No wonder we're all presently screwed. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
If I were Anne, this would be my statement:
Hi.
I'm breaking my silence to call on everyone to focus on the things that truly matter: the war in the Middle East, the corruption in government, and the countless real issues that negatively affect all of us, particularly women and children. These are the battles that demand our energy, not a manufactured outrage over a poorly worded analogy.
I took the time to process what Mr. Bong Suntay said. To be honest? I was quite flattered to be used as the standard for desirability. To assume that I was hurt is an insult to my intelligence, and to speak on my behalf strips me of my agency. I am intelligent enough to understand that it was an analogy meant to drive a point: not every speech that offends us is a crime, and not every careless comment deserves to become a national crisis.
Let's stop making this about me. I will not be used as a pawn to advance a political narrative that does nothing to benefit women in general. Real empowerment isn't about performative outrage or demanding apologies from every man who misspeaks. It's about lifting each other up in the face of actual hardship—war, poverty, injustice.
