I've been collecting up materials to enable me to make a new batch of our eco-firelighters. Still collecting a bit of fern foliage, but it'll be wonderful to collect the yellows and blues of Spring in a couple of months!

I love Winter evenings where I can just make a nest of blankets and do needlepoint until bedtime. Cup of tea, maybe a biscuit... it's a good life 😁

After two days of migraine and recovery, I'm spending the evening under a blanket making macrame hanging tokens for the shop.... Happy Saturday night all 🙈

The Harvest full-moon is visible tonight and tomorrow.

An integral part of country life, the Harvest Moon would have once given farmers a welcome extra few hours of light to gather crops at the busiest part of the year.

For centuries, there has been a

connection between the moons light and our own lives, for this is the time we gather in all our food to see us through the dark days of Winter.
