Been watching videos of the Japan earthquake destruction yesterday and it's just bad.

Respect to the Aeon Mall Kumamoto staff. Even with the place looking wrecked after the quake and explosion, they still put customers first and got most out safely.

Trapped people,
Power outages
Road/bridge damage, landslides, fires, a freight train derailment
Damage to Kumamoto Castle
Disruptions to trains (including Shinkansen), expressways, and Kumamoto Airport runway

That's how a 7.1 magnitude earthquake can shake the world. Many people are counting losses from destroyed properties in Japan. Makes you realise how great full we all should be if we are safe.
