In the deepest darkness of war, many struggle and work for Ukraine's freedom. With this video we want to give a bit of hope and light. Our printers won’t stop until there's victory in Ukraine.

🇸🇪 MoD Pål Jonson: Ukrainians come and train with us. We’re learning important lessons from them every day.
And If Ukrainian units come to island of Gotland, I want hard, realistic training. I don’t want them to do an exhibition.
One of the things that has become absolutely clear is that you can no longer conduct maneuver warfare in the old way, and you cannot concentrate mass. Russians tried it few weeks ago, and one of their armored battalions was completely annihilated.
That’s why we’re also investing heavily in our own drone capabilities. We need to adapt and learn modern electronic warfare as well.
I’m proud that we’re collaborating with Ukrainians. I’m grateful for this cooperation. It’s precisely because we support Ukraine so strongly in this war that we receive this kind of valuable training in return.
I thank Sweden for all its support for Ukraine – for our people and for our defense. Sweden is absolutely committed to protecting life, and we value this immensely.
Today, we have a new support package for Ukraine, and the most important element of it is the Swedish Gripen fighter jets, which will strengthen our air force. Overall, this year, next year, and our future cooperation are all about building Ukraine’s fleet of Swedish Gripens. This will help us guarantee the security of Ukraine and Ukrainians.
Today, the @SwedishPM and I also discussed the details of our cooperation across all other areas. I briefed him on the situation in Ukraine – on the battlefield and in our defense against Russian strikes. We need our own European antiballistic capabilities in sufficient quantity and with sufficient strength. We will work on this, including within the NB8 format – one of our most effective formats, bringing together Ukraine, the Nordic countries, and the Baltic states.
I am also grateful to Sweden for all the sanctions steps – everything that limits Russia’s capacity for aggression.
ZELENSKYY: What does Ukraine have today? Greatest combat experience in the world in defending lives, soldiers, infrastructure, energy systems, water supplies, schools and everything else.
This is our defensive shield. We will share it with Sweden. We possess this knowledge and this unique experience, and no one else has it.
You have drone interceptors, electronic warfare systems, radars, aviation, helicopters, everything. You operate on sea, on land, in sky. In short, you will have modern, up-to-date air defense shield.
Today we are prepared to share experience we gained during this war with our partners. We will also build and develop common air shield for Europe. This is our idea. We call it the Drone Deal. We will implement Drone Deal with Europe.
Of course, we will share all our experience and knowledge with any countries that want it and have necessary capacities. For those who don’t, we will share with them and help in every possible way.
This is what we can offer, and on the basis of this idea, we will engage in joint production with other countries. And Sweden is one of Ukraine’s biggest global partners.
News of the Gripen deal for Ukraine is another major achievement by Zelenskyy in strengthening the country’s defense. And another step in deepening Ukraine’s special relationship with Sweden.
But the bigger question is this: is Ukraine becoming a Nordic country?
Not geographically. Strategically.
For decades, Ukrainians thought of their place in Europe through the lens of Central and Eastern Europe. Some dreamed of an arc from the Baltic to the Black Sea.
After 2022, reality began to change doctrine. A renaissance in Ukraine’s relations with Northern Europe began.
It was driven by three forces: the North’s leadership in supporting Ukraine, backed by resources; frictions with partners in Central Europe; and Ukraine’s search for more strategic anchors in Europe.
For Ukrainians, this movement makes sense. More than a thousand years ago, the Varangians were an important part of the rise of Rus. In the early 18th century, Sweden was already an ally of Ukraine’s attempt to break free from Moscow’s rule.
But this is not only about history.
Ukrainians are drawn to the Nordic world, where strength does not contradict democracy, defense does not contradict prosperity, technology reinforces resilience, and cool-headedness serves freedom and dignity.
Kyiv will not change its geography. But its center of gravity is changing.
The Vikings are returning to Ukraine. And Ukrainians are charting their country’s path to the North.
It is still unclear where this will lead. But it is already a fascinating turn of history.
I am grateful to the people and government of Sweden, and personally to @SwedishPM Ulf Kristersson, for supporting Ukraine, for their principled stance, and for their readiness to bring a just peace closer through real steps. We continue and expand our cooperation.

❗️During NATO exercises to defend the Swedish island of Gotland from a simulated “Russian attack,” Ukrainian drone operators completely crushed the Swedish forces. The Swedes halted the drills three times to rethink their tactics. Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces, General Michael Claesson, stated that all NATO armies must urgently learn how to fight with drones directly from the Ukrainians.
Thank you for feedback. 🤝 We appreciate that our training system of mine-replicas and grenades reach EOD-instructors who lower risk and save lives with training.
Oleh is a True Hero of Ukraine and we are honored to be of assistance. 🙏🏻
Slava Ukraini! Glory to heroes. 🇺🇦🇸🇪
(AI-bild nedan)

@AprilHuggett So sorry for your loss, April. 💔 Loosing those brave and important people we really need here is beyond words. So sorry… 💔
And - we keep working to hopefully help saving lives. 💙💛🇺🇦🇸🇪
King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden began his visit to Ukraine by honoring our fallen warriors together with me. We are deeply grateful for this gesture of respect.
The memory of each and every one of them is very important to us – the defenders of Ukraine who fought against Russian aggression. They fought not only for our country, but also for the protection of all of Europe, so that Russian madness and killing would not spread further.
Eternal memory to our fallen heroes!
Karl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, is the first reigning monarch to visit war-zone Ukraine.
This is huge: Previously countries would not send their "irreplacables."
His Majesty visisted Lviv, where along with Zelensky he placed flowers for the war-dead, and he also visited school children, a bombed Catholic church, and the Superhumans center for those who have lost limbs because of Russia's war.
"För Sverige – i tiden" — as the king's royal motto says: "For Sweden—with the times."
For the second time since the restoration of our independence, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has come to Ukraine. A government delegation also accompanied him. I thank His Majesty for his visit and for supporting our people. Sweden is among the five largest donors in terms of support for our Armed Forces and our citizens. This is very important for our defense and resilience.
Support for Ukraine and possibilities for strengthening the Air Force of Ukraine, including with Gripen aircraft, were among the key topics of the talks. We also discussed continued humanitarian support and energy assistance.
Particular attention was paid to defense cooperation. Ukraine is interested in a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership that will strengthen the defense capabilities of both Ukraine and Sweden. I informed the King about Ukraine’s security agreements with countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region, as well as European countries. We are ready to share our experience and technologies with Sweden and to expand cooperation in the defense industry.
