@Malamia09 OH! And completing as many additional completion marks as you can before getting deep into act 3 really bolsters the item and ability pool. Obvs breeding and mutations matter, but items and class synergy probably matters the most for breaking cats.
@Malamia09 I'm at 334 hours. 96% complete. At 200 hours I started using a mod that gets rid of Steven save scumming. If I replay an area and cannot get around it by shifting items then I call the run a loss. Solo cat runs are EXTRA unfair and untested. Which is the reason I got the mod.
@Malamia09 I've had encounters where I started a fight, and every single enemy moved before I could and killed my cats. There's no way to counter act this without prior knowledge, so save scumming is necessary in my opinion. I love the Steven feature, but there's a limit.
@Aidencanttweet@edmundmcmillen I'm not kidding when I say at 300 hours I have seen the item on the left three times and the item on the right twice. some drops are not consistent to rely upon and holding off on solo runs for those items to appear isn't fair either. I encounter some items a lot, and some never.
@KatSaiCin@edmundmcmillen While I agree, this doesn't apply to the coming console players and purists. Unless there are options to access them in-game without messing with achievements and completion marks, which is unlikely.
@edmundmcmillen Even when reloading the Dr. Cat Fight the order of their dodge when attacking them is consistent. They dodge the same attacks the same way every time. So it makes it feel less like chance if that makes sense?
@edmundmcmillen Edmund, is it intentional to have Dr. Cat be able to reach 100% dodge chance, and Stacy #996402 to be able to charm chain you and wildly boost their stats? It makes many solo runs impossible. ):
@edmundmcmillen I believe that a Retrotink 4k device is the best option (good for old game consoles too, but 700$). RetroRGB on YouTube has video on how to do it, but he also has recommendations for free software like VirtualDub and Bravocon: https://t.co/czJyLLrec0 or https://t.co/QJJy0d9onJ
@edmundmcmillen Are you using a retrotink4k for upscaling / de-interlacing or something AI based? Also, out of curiosity, did you need to use a time based corrector to stabalize the image, or was it stable as was?
