@Prof_Brech @ion_eyes and not putting the cart before the horse when I look at who leads your religion, and how much it has emphasized success and money. your religion is the richest in the world for a reason - the tea leaves show it’s led by worldly desires. Believe it shows in your leaders too.
@Prof_Brech @ion_eyes The Bible and the truths of the Gospel are true, regardless of our experience. Meaning - our feels shouldn’t be the driver. The truth of the Gospel is. Thanks to the Incarnate-God, Jesus Christ, The Lord our Savior. The Gospel is true regardless of our often misleading feelings.
@Prof_Brech @ion_eyes In regard to the success of the 12. Or even the 70… those guys wouldn’t be in that position if they weren’t successful by worldly standards. I guarantee you if you aren’t successful by worldly standards, you aren’t given that “call”. It’s worldly and backwards
@Prof_Brech @ion_eyes Here’s what I’ll say to your experiences. Feelings/experiences are good passengers but terrible drivers. Meaning your experience within the church can be false no matter how much your feelings affirm it. The Gospel truths of the Bible drive me - not what I think or feel.
