My friends that don't hate me would say I'm easy to get along with.

Renewables are indeed legit.
Bottled in the Permian. Aged in Austin.
A hack to create additional depth is to add a light blurred shape behind the element to create a “glow” effect.
If you’re feeling fancy, reduce the opacity and add a background blur to the foreground element so the glow shows through creating a “glassy” effect.
@SwiftOnSecurity You will never see your family swallowed in the Siberian melting nightmare bog in a summer crossing. Locals whisper it is not simply permafrost degradation, but the feasting upon the awakening of an Old One.
A few CSS questions I was asked at a recent frontend interview:
- Name several ways to center an object
- What are the box model properties from the outside in?
- What would use to animate an object?
@jaffathecake It is pretty astounding how much of the web really just has fairly terrible implementation (not Googs, but moreso clients and design I guess).
If a newb can just design around best practices, already ahead of the game in the vast void of ether between blog and billion $$ biz
@drvolts@ieefa_institute Sometime last year around Q1, I thought Texas would hit 50% clean electricity ~2024-2025, looking at capacity reports, probably 2023. Ha, wow. Incoming battery sonic boom and more FF going seasonal, I reckon.
@chdkrly @AustinWater If your power is back on, get fam and fill trash bags with ice/snow, melt enough down on stove, take the big debris out of it, pour in toilet tank and flush. Throw rest of bags in tub. I've done this 2-3 times.
Not optimal but better than basking in the ambiance of turd soup.
@JesseJenkins@PMoutis Hope this also encourages more wind R&D (on top of weatherizing of course). Streamlining data at heights we actually use for planning/modeling, stuff like LiDAR siting, taller heights rotor innovation, etc.
BRB, gotta fill trash bags with snow so I can flush my toilet.
@JesseJenkins@PMoutis Just wanna say, solar probably produces more than people think. ERCOT has ~5GW of solar capacity installed. 2nd column = hour, 3rd = output. Other days less but still not terrible given winter freeze conditions
