aside from the earthquake earlier, a massive wildfire has been spreading across doi sang mountain in lampang province (northern thailand, southeast of chiang mai) since around 19:00 local time. the fire is affecting the main lampang-chiang mai route, and responders are still working to contain it. lampang is now facing both an earthquake and a wildfire in the same day. hoping for everyone's safety, and sending strength to those affected and the responders on the ground.
