This year's Avian Disease Prevention Program season was a success! There were no botulism outbreaks & we rescued a few sick gulls. We captured this scraggly gull & brought it to @Wildlife_Center. The 2nd image was taken by WCSV after successfully treating & releasing the gull!
A group of 4 dedicated corporate volunteers from @flyarcher helped reunite kennel halves with their missing partners, and their long-lost doors. Our crates thank you, the animals thank you, and most of all we thank you for helping us to rehabilitate local wildlife!
This year we've received 230 raptors - we expect this number to rise as the Bay Area sees more rain and high winds. If you see a downed raptor, don't handle, feed, or attempt transport! Call WCSV or your local animal control for help. More info:

Our volunteers tirelessly tackle the toughest tasks, cleaning, raising countless orphans, and so much more! Equally important are all of our off-site volunteers, enabling us to provide the best possible care for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. You truly make a difference!
We received our first Killdeer chick of the year from the @Wildlife_Center Silicon Valley: Bird arrived dehydrated and quiet but is perking up quickly with fluids and a warm incubator.
