She was too straight forward. She charged at him with her feelings like a wild boar. There was no stopping her… so he had to go along with it and pin her against the wall.

“Do as I say and I will give you a reward in return. Can you do that much for me?”

@nilexalted “You… Are a lot bolder when you are in this state Nitocris… do not forget we are in public… someone might hear you passing by. This talk should be saved when we are alone. Like out exploring or in our tent.”

@nilexalted “It is more comfortable compared to my usual armor. I’m glad you like it. I’ll wear more often with you in mind.”

@nilexalted “I… Well… Hmm… I suppose you can say I do. I am wearing something similar. In a way, we are matching.”

@nilexalted He closed his eyes already feeling better just feeling her forehead against his. Just knowing he had her it was enough.

“As long as I always have you to come back to, I’ll always be okay.”

He was panting loudly as he stood on top of a corpse of a monster. He had single handily hunted a pack of Doshaguma that threatened a nearby village. His left arm was wounded and dripping blood through the armor. Behind the helmet he winced in pain.

@nilexalted He moved his hand slowly to hold onto hers. He gave her a gentle smile. One that would reassure her.

“I’ll always come back. Alright? Don’t you worry. As long as I have you to come back to, I can do anything.”

@nilexalted Even if he ultimately got injured he would still do it again if it means he could save anyone.

“I hope you aren’t too mad at me. This is a risk any hunter takes. We might not always come back from a Quest.”

@nilexalted He stayed silent the entire treatment. He knew he had worried her and it was his fault. He should have been more careful and asked help for the quest.

Yet despite knowing he should have waited he didn’t regret his decision. Because of his actions a nearby village was saved.

@nilexalted He didn’t say a thing as he allowed her to help. Not a single thing did he say to their trip back to base. He simple held on tight as he could so he wouldn’t fall off the animal.

@nilexalted But that didn’t mean he indestructible.

“I didn’t mean… to worry you…”

He winced in pain as he tried to move but his body didn’t listen. His left hand completely useless to as of right now badly damaged.

@nilexalted He couldn’t even move his body. He was so exhausted and felt in every inch of his body. Not only did he get injured but he fought past his limits just to stay alive. As a hunter he was already physically stronger than an average human.

@nilexalted Why are you focusing on making chocolates?

@nilexalted He took another bite from his food and noticing her poking. He looked over at her with a concerned look.

“Is everything okay..?”

@nilexalted He sat down on a seat near the campfire. Two pieces of meat in both his hands before tossing it into the pan when the butter melted.

“Cooking something like this is not hard. It is mostly about timing. Go ahead and throw the mud shrimp in.”

@nilexalted He opened his mouth and took a bite from the meat as well. His eyes lit up as he chewed. The meat just melting in his mouth with the flavor of the spices she added.

“Mmm, that was good.”

He would try a taste of the shrimp next that was coated in honey.

“I’m glad I’m with you.”

“Those are good choices.”

He took a fork out and his knife. He cuts a piece of the steak and holds the fork right in front of her.

“Want to take the first bite?”
