গতকাল "জাতীয় শ্���মিক শক্তি, ঢাকা মহানগর দক্ষিণ" এর সংগঠক আনোয়ার এর বাড়িতে গিয়ে কয়েক দফায় তার উপর হামলা করে বিএনপির স্থানীয় নেতাকর্মীরা।
পরে উপজেলা যুবদলের নেতারা সাইবার সিকিউরিটি আইনে মামলা দিয়ে কোর্টে চালান করেছে।

জুলাই-পরবর্তী সময়ে Bangladesh থেকে হাসিনা পালানোর পর যেভাবে ভারতীয় গণমাধ্যম বাংলাদেশের হিন্দু সংখ্যালঘুদের নিয়ে ধারাবাহিকভাবে অতিরঞ্জিত, বিভ্রা��্তিকর এবং অনেক ক্ষেত্রে সরাসরি মিথ্যা প্রচারণা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে, তা আর কেবল সাংবাদিকতা নয়, এটি স্পষ্ট রাজনৈতিক কৌশল ও জনমত প্রভাবিত করার অপচেষ্টা। বাংলাদেশের অভ্যন্তরীণ বিষয়কে বিকৃতভাবে উপস্থাপন করে আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে দেশকে অস্থিতিশীল, সাম্প্রদায়িক ও ব্যর্থ রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে তুলে ধরার চেষ্টা বহুদিন ধরেই চলছে।

কিন্তু প্রশ্ন হলো, পশ্চিমবঙ্গের নির্বাচন ঘিরে মুসলিমদের উপর হিন্দুত্���বাদী গোষ্ঠীর নির্যাতন, বিরোধী মত দমনের নামে রাষ্ট্রীয় সহিংসতা, কিংবা ভারতে সংখ্যালঘুদের মানবাধিকার লঙ্ঘনের ঘটনাগুলো নিয়ে আমরা কতটা কথা বলছি? আমরা কি প্রতিদিন তাদের মতো করে প্রচারণা চালাচ্ছি? না। কারণ রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে বাংলাদেশ এখনো সেই নোংরা প্রোপাগান্ডার রাজনীতিতে নামেনি।

দুঃখজনক হলো, যখন সীমান্ত, সার্বভৌমত্ব, আঞ্চলিক নিরাপত্তা এবং আন্তর্জাতিক অপপ্রচার নিয়ে আমাদের চিন্তিত থাকার কথা, তখন দেশের সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া ও একাংশের মিডিয়া ব্যস্ত জয়া আহসানের প্রাণীপ্রেম, শাওনের ড্রাইভারের খুতবা, কিংবা তুচ্ছ ব্যক্তিকেন্দ্রিক বিতর্ক নিয়ে। যেন জাতির সামনে আর কোনো বড় প্রশ্ন নেই।

এদিকে ভারতীয় মিডিয়া, ইউটিউব চ্যানেল এবং বিভিন্ন মত��দর্শিক গোষ্ঠী নিয়মিতভাবে এমন এক মনস্তাত্ত্বিক যুদ্ধ চালাচ্ছে, যেখানে বাংলাদেশের সীমান্ত, অভ্যন্তরীণ রাজনীতি ও সামাজিক স্থিতিশীলতাকে লক্ষ্যবস্তু বানানো হয়েছে। অথচ আমাদের মিডিয়ার বড় অংশ এখনো বুঝতেই চায় না তথ্যযুদ্ধও এক ধরনের আগ্রাসন।

সবচেয়ে বড় প্রশ্ন হলো, আমাদের মিডিয়া কবে সত্যিকার অর্থে বাংলাদেশের মিডিয়া হবে? কবে তারা দিল্লির স্টুডিওর প্রতি��্বনি না হয়ে বাংলাদেশের মানুষের ভাষায় কথা বলবে? কবে তারা বুঝবে, রাষ্ট্রের স্বার্থ রক্ষা করা মানে কোনো দলের দালালি নয়, বরং দেশের মর্যাদা, সার্বভৌমত্ব ও জনগণের পক্ষে দাঁড়ানো?

আজ বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় সংকট শুধু রাজনৈতিক নয়, বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিকও। কারণ যখন জাতির মনোযোগ সীমান্ত থেকে সরিয়ে গসিপে আটকে দেওয়া হয়, তখন বুঝতে হবে কেউ না কেউ খুব পরিকল্পিতভাবে জনগণকে মূল প্রশ্ন থেকে দূরে সরিয়ে রাখছে।

মির্জা আব্বাসের ছেলে বলছেন, সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় অনেক ধরনের কথা ছড়িয়েছে। বাস্তবে ওইরকম কিছু হয়নি। কাজের চাপে স্ট্রেস বেড়ে গেছিল। সেটার ফলে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েছেন। উনি এখন অনেকটাই সুস্থ আছেন। দোয়া করবেন সবাই।

It appears that within the current interim government of Bangladesh, another shadow government is operating, led by at least six individuals who have cunningly infiltrated the statecraft. There is a well coordinated attempt to vilify a few advisers and important officials who are working towards a democratic transition to uphold the spirit of the July 2024 monsoon revolution. However, this shadowy group of 14 people, including the six mentioned earlier and led by a man named Nurul Islam Bhuiyan Choton, is creating hurdles.

One of the members of this group is Mohammad Azaz, the administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation.

I was curious to uncover his political identity and was shocked to find him among the top leaders of the banned militant organization Hizb ut-Tahrir (banned in Bangladesh since October 2009 for posing a threat to national security) was involved in Chhatra Shibir politics during his student life but became associated with Hizb ut-Tahrir in 2002. While working for this organization, he was arrested at least twice.

A review of an internal document issued by the City Special Branch of Bangladesh Police on September 3, 2014, reveals that Mohammad Azaz was ranked fifth among the top leaders of Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh. In the same year, he was arrested along with eight others under the Special Powers Act 15(1)(a)(3)/25/gha, on charges of propaganda and funding for this banned organization. After being detained for a few days, he was released on bail and again became active with the same organization.

After August 5, 2024, amid changing political circumstances, Azaz and his other associates were acquitted of the case. It was also observed that Md. Azaz began various efforts to remove Hizb ut-Tahrir from the Ministry of Home Affairs’ list of banned organizations.

Due to his prior acquaintance with Nurul Islam Bhuiyan Choton and on the direct recommendation of Advisor Asif Mahmud, Mohammad Azaz was appointed as the administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation on the 12th February 2025. It is known that a female advisor, operating behind the scenes, lobbied for this position.

I have cross-checked with multiple security and intelligence agencies, and it has been confirmed that no security clearance was obtained from any of them before appointing Mohammad Azaz as the administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation.

It is important to note that Hizb ut-Tahrir is declared a terrorist organization in the UK, many other Western countries, as well as in China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, and most Arab countries.
