@LordCharizard33 If scalping simply means buying something at MSRP and selling it for more, then almost every business would be guilty. Restaurants buy ingredients and charge more for the finished meal. Target, GameStop, and other retailers buy products wholesale and sell them above their cost.
@LordCharizard33 No other retail product is treated this way. Employees don't tear open food packaging, rip LEGO boxes, or break factory seals on electronics before selling them. Retailers don't get to decide who "deserves" a sealed product. It's sucks but scalpping isn't illegal.
@PeakHobby The expectation should be the same across every department: if the packaging or factory seal is damaged by the retailer, the product should be replaced, not shipped to the customer.
@PeakHobby Pokémon products deserve the same standard. The factory seal is part of the product. Whether someone collects, gifts,or simply opens it themselves, they paid for a sealed item,not one with torn packaging because an employee wanted to squeeze it into a box or handled it carelessly
Even if I could upload 100 photos, it still wouldn't show every Pokémon ETB has shipped in oversized boxes with employees ripping the factory seals. This happens way too often. Whoever oversees distribution and packaging needs to do better.
@Target
@holds1325@ilovehockey07 The problem is they're printing at max capacity.Can't print sets fast enough until their expansion is up and running. I'm sure it won't be a smooth process so it might be 2-3 years until things ease up. But yes, if they somehow manage another mass printing along w/30th, AH,PB etc
@ilovehockey07 It's like Flappy Bird, except you're frantically mashing the little red Add to Cart button at 2 a.m. like an absolute psychopath. OOS? F*** you, Target! Throws phone down. Then I daydream about having a bot... until the next alert hits and the whole sick cycle starts over.
@SpielerTCG@Palworld_EN Cheaper than this card shop. Oh goody it's $40 off $200. It's show $89 on the search results. Also if your box says palWORD on the top right, it's a misprint and keep that sealed.
@PokeRestockHQ X2 over MSRP. Not bad for AH I guess... A lot of discounted 3rd party tonight. Weird Walmart drop. I did pick up some just for the hell of it.
