I was invited to speak at the Beyond Honors Event last week where we discussed different career pathways in education, working in public/private sections, best pedagogical practices, and my time at Hillel. It was a pleasure to talk about my passions and old friends!

Excited about 9th-grade Biology CP/Honors! This week we studied cell division, mitosis in plant cells, and observed mitotic stages in the onion root tips, and mastered microscope slide preparation.

As midterms approach, I fondly recall our photosynthesis experiment. We studied the pigments in green, red, and yellow leaves using chromatography, then created chromatograms to show the various colors in plants.

Upper School students in our HOSA-Future Health Professionals chapter have once again excelled at the Florida HOSA State Competition! Twelve #USchool students placed within the Top 5 and seven placed in the Top 3, qualifying for international competition.

NSU University School shattered expectations at the State Leadership Conference by earning over 15 state winners in a wide variety of health career competitions. I was also fortunate enough to be inducted into the Florida HOSA Board of Directors as the Region 8 Broward Advisor!
