Ayer un camarero se quilló porque dejé $100 de propina por $1,500 que gaste. Vio los $100, puso cara y dijo "la cuenta son $1,500", como diciendo "no es ni el 10%". No vuelvo más nunca por ahí. La propina es VOLUNTARIA y si le pagan poco, que le reclame a su jefe.

Fun fact, it happened to me today at a bar in Providence. Is that being regulated in Providence/RI? I’m always a good tipper, but an automatic 20% service fee is too much. @EnriqueForRI @DavidMoralesPVD

I went to a steakhouse in Miami, paid the bill, and they automatically added a 20% tip.

When the waiter brought the check, he said: “That tip goes to the whole establishment—if you want to leave something for me, it’s extra.”

I didn’t add anything else—20% is already too much. He gave me a dirty look, like I was robbing him.

This tipping culture is out of control.

Si puedes, cancela todas tus tarjetas y retira tu dinero del @BanreservasRD a otro banco con mejor servicio. Como es posible que te roban dinero de la tarjeta de crédito, haces el reclamo, y después te dicen que no te pueden devolver el dinero.

@Fe_Peralta 🤣🤣. Al menos me llamaron a mi numero en USA. Su logica es, que al yo bloquear la tarjeta después del consumo “fraudulento”, ellos no pueden validar si fui yo que hice la transacción o no. Se supone que debes recibir la notificación del fraude primero y después bloquearla. No?

4k pesos no me afectan en nada, pero al final del dia es dinero que trabajo y debe de dolerme. Asi como yo, hay quizás miles de personas que le hacen lo mismo y nunca le resuelven. Desde que este en RD les pago su dinero y cancelo todas mis cuentas con ustedes @BanreservasRD
