@DaveThroup Yes, I had one of these in the 70s for Christmas. Great fun, and inspired me to do A Level Chemistry due to wanting to pursue career in horticulture. Failed exam, but writing prevailed. Love gardening and chemistry knowledge has proven useful over the decades!
@DaveThroup Got back from Costa Blanca 2 weeks ago after a few weeks of great weather. Were due to spend 3 days in Cordoba en route to the ferry, but opted for east coast (Benicarlo) due to the storms in Andalucia mid-October. Paying close attention to forecasts paid off!
@DaveThroup When you’re waiting for 2 replacement VELUX windows and they call you saying ‘we can do it tomorrow’, you check the weather forecast. Yes! Two done Tuesday! Brilliant, thank you high pressure!
@DaveThroup Quite agree Dave. I wish dog owners would pick up the poo and dispose of it responsibly. It’s not hard to do, and I hate seeing dog poo bags left littered in the countryside.
@Schafernaker Beautiful photos Tomasz. Indonesian sunsets are beautiful and you can see ‘creatures’ in the clouds. We honeymooned there (diving) and last returned in 2017. November is good for dry weather/full moon night dive to see coral spawning and warm sea.
@BrittanyFerries I’d share it with my lovely husband and look forward to at least 50 trips, and more, to glorious sunny Spain! Thank you Brittany Ferries for making it easy, accessible and relaxing! #BF50
@BrittanyFerries Got to be 2.5 million. The two of us have helped to contribute to that! Missing the spacious Cap Finistere cabins on your newer vessels, especially on winter crossings!
@RevRichardColes Love a nibble on raw cauliflower while preparing it for the steamer. Leftovers then feed the hungry hardworking worms 🐛 for compost next spring. Wins all round!!
