@CptAncapistan 10 million young American men were forced to fight and possibly die in another country against their will, for a government that would eventually become the corrupt leviathan we have today.
@GeeksGamersCom Is it really woke or is it just typical Hollywood prpgressivism that we've had to deal with since the 90s?
If it's the latter I don't think we need to freak out about it.
@bebeconor@Ultramagaman8@IGN That's not irony, the original He-Man name was obviously intended to represent becoming a manly man from a sissy boy/man. It had nothing to to with people randomly declaring that others have to use pronouns of the opposite sex when referring to them.
@Carnage2469@DiscussingFilm@Blackcatloner Race swaps aren't a huge problem if they aren't the main character and they maintain the same characteristics otherwise. But it also has to fit the world and lore overall, e.g. not a black knight in medieval England. This one seems fine to me.
@Rothmus Amazing that younger generations think average Boomers should be forced to sell their homes that they've lived in for decades, raised families in, before collecting from the system that they paid into for the same amount of decades, if not longer.
Good guys defeating bad guys is a universally loved narrative. The only people who want their heroes struggling with mental issues are people with mental issues. But even then, wouldn't you want to see them proceed to defeat a real evil? Simply becoming normal isn't a triumph to normal people.
@RepReaganPaul There are two things here.
First, the Pledge of Allegiance should not be "divisive" to Americans generally.
Second, we should be pledging allegiance to our town or state, not the Feds, at council meetings.
