Beyond the literary elements such as the foreshadowing presented in his poem, I see it trying to show a glimpse into how those that are oppressed feel while they are under this oppression. His line of “I will resist” says it all. Even when it seems hopeless. #johnson101

The witches seem to be a sort of evil, willing to torture to death over a small showing of hate. #Macbeth

The king goes as far as to name him a Thane. This story is starting off very strong, building Macbeth up as a hero. #Macbeth

In fact, it would seem Macbeth is a one in a million soldiers. They are completely attributing their victory to his skill and bravery. Stating it was as if he were to marry the goddess of war. #Macbeth

Macbeth is also labelled a captain, meaning he must be of some importance. The soldier also recounts that he stayed relatively calm. A good trait. #Macbeth
