At @scope we call out ableism. Call out discrimination. And to not let language like this go unchecked.

Labour has said it will consider the asylum claims of 90,000+ migrants who have entered the UK illegally since March 2023 if it wins the election.

They are currently barred from the asylum system thanks to the Illegal Migration Act.

They are stuck in limbo, unable to claim asylum but the government cannot remove them.

Labour says it'll overturn the asylum ban if it wins power.
