This story smells....and it's a stretch. And the fact it leans heavily on the far-FAR left @splcenter for "facts" tells you everything you need to know about its veracity. This is the same @splcenter that is being sued by the @Heritage Foundation for colluding with the Biden Administration to target groups like @Moms4Liberty (not the first, not the last). The same SPLC that says TN @EagleForum (headed by a sweet, little white-haired lady) is also an extremist group.

We are huge fans of the full story and the new statue in downtown Franklin. We like Juneteenth, but we do not like the politicization of it for the advancement of divisive ideological agendas. And while the statue is 💯 appropriate for our downtown square, Racial Terror Markers, graphically describing hangings, lynchings, murders, anti-Semitism, rape, and specifically, the rape of children, is 💯 NOT appropriate in our city spaces where children can read them.
