@raybrat54@BBGreatMoments Irrelevant. Never tested positive. Doesn’t help hit home runs even if he did take them and if he did who cares? That era saved the game after the strike. Bonds is the GOAT. All home runs count.
@sc_cooper7@john33485177@BurdenBurner I like Soto. I’m just concerned that his heart isn’t into it as much as it was before he got that payday. It’s happened with many players in multiple sports and it’s unfortunate. Hopefully he isn’t one of those. We will see.
@sc_cooper7@john33485177@BurdenBurner I’m old school and I’ve been around the game for many years. Yea I’m a bit old lol. I’ve been coaching kids from little league to high school. I just don’t get into stats of that kind. It doesn’t matter when you get hits and get on base, as long as that’s happening it’s all good
@sc_cooper7@john33485177@BurdenBurner I honestly don’t need those stats. I don’t see the point in collecting things like that in a game. Same with launch angle. That’s just a bit unnecessary to be recording.
@sc_cooper7@john33485177@BurdenBurner Also, all that exit velocity and shit like that means nothing. Who cares how fast the ball is off the bat 😂. As long as it’s a hit who cares about that? That “stat” is irrelevant.
@sc_cooper7@john33485177@BurdenBurner It’s mid right now. I’ve seen this too many times in sports. Very good player gets the bag, then skills somehow diminish. I believe when this happens it’s because the player doesn’t care as much anymore now that they are paid big so they don’t give their all on the field.
@john33485177@BurdenBurner Soto is mid. Way overpaid. He should have known that was caught. Even the announcer said he should have known. Soto is not a superstar.
