Not only was Sam Neill awesome in JURASSIC PARK, but he was also great in THE PIANO and HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE. He bought so much warmth to the screen, and Alan Grant wouldn’t be the same without him. RIP.

Currently on a rewatch of the entire show (haven’t seen S5 yet!), but can happily confirm that this is true. In fact, reckon S2 and S3 is probably the absolute peak of THE BOYS. Loved how crazy the show can go and how clever it actually was in those first few seasons!

Man, another great actor is no longer with us. Robert Duvall was such a large part of the Hollywood landscape in the 1970s; THE GODFATHER I and II, APOCALYPSE NOW. So many iconic roles and legendary lines of dialogue (including the one below), what a legacy to leave behind. RIP.

This sucks.

Knew he was in poor health, but still sad to see and hear this news. He played such a relatable character (for me) in DAWSON’S CREEK and had an iconic line in a memorable role in VARSITY BLUES as well. Yeah, this is just a bummer. RIP James Van Der Beek!
