I cry, this world is too sick for philosophising. A cultural health is lacking worldwide, and until vitality improves I fear philosophy is stagnant, and has already begun to rot.
Anger in all its forms is a feeling of perceived inferiority of the self. Lashing out for any reason only reveals internal weakness or a lacking comprehension of the mechanisms of your life. Allowing yourself to be angry means you have already lost the only battle that matters.
@SydSteyerhart You are misinterpreting the quote. He stops talking about women in the first sentence. All he is doing in it is telling men they are acting like women, Zarathustra often enjoys provoking his listeners like this.
You allow his wit to blind you, his humor makes you comfortable, you think him to be your friend, and begin to read his words uncritically, you see yourself as his modern champion. He knew he was but a jumping board! He did not want acolytes, he wanted successors! Grow up!
There is an enormous (and growing) amount of pseudo-intellectuals and so called Nietzscheans whose reading of Nietzsche excludes his philosophy. Who are so blinded by his wit and humor, his prose and satire, that they forgo digesting his ideas, and regurgitate them meaninglessly.
