No Ferrari driver has won at Baku but good to see you directing all your energy towards just one of them.

2021 - Took back to back poles before Hamilton or Verstappen who had far better cars that year, car should never have been on pole.

2022 - Car blew up.

2023 - Took pole against the ridiculous 2023 Red Bull, look how far he finished ahead of Sainz lmao.

2024 - Overtaken by Piastri in an illegal car.

You should now be expecting an influx of “if if if” posts from people who don’t rate Leclerc, but everything here is exactly how it happened. That span alone is full of bad luck in which he was easily robbed of 4+ wins.

What makes it even worse is the one race people focus on was Paul Ricard, which was idiotic from CL, but Ferrari lost him far more points than he lost himself.

Ali just about sums up modern F1 “fans”, they speak with an alarming level of confidence to masses of followers. It’s the blind leading the blind, and the sheep that follow him take everything he posts as fact.

In just the past week, I have had to explain to him how engineering is more important than the drivers when it comes to a new regulation set, which is a literal fact, and how tyre offsets work. You can also go back to the weekend of the Hungarian GP, and you’ll see Ali not understanding how grid penalties are applied.

He lacks basic understanding of F1, but his posts are interacted with by hundreds of people, usually supporting one particular driver who shall remain nameless, but you all know who it is.

What this leads to is an alarming level of narcissism and a massive lack of understanding to how far your posts can travel.

I’m glad this has come back to bite him and I hope the Italian journalists, who were definitely correct on what they reported despite an Instagram post from a certain driver who again shall remain nameless, at the bare minimum get a public apology. Furthermore, I hope the ones he tagged who aren’t even involved manage to distance themselves from the nonsense.

Also, if Ferrari was the 11th fastest car, would that have been Hamilton’s fault? Of course not. Would they be saying Hamilton designed the car if it was the 11st fastest? Of course not.

You are in no position to lecture anyone on anything.

Evidently, it’s you who has no idea what a tyre offsets is and everything I said about Zandvoort was factually correct. Running long on a tyre and having fresher tyres will make you look quicker than those who are on older tyres. That’s pretty basic stuff, if you don’t understand that I really can’t help you.

Sochi and Singapore 2019 are absolutely textbook Ferrari sabotage.

Singapore, Leclerc takes pole, leads, everyone knew it was a 1 stop and track position was key, so they pit Vettel first, allowing him to undercut Leclerc.

Following race in Sochi, Vettel ignores team orders, they try to right the wrong of Singapore by pitting Leclerc first to undercut Vettel, Vettel DNF’s on his outlap and causes a VSC, Mercedes get a free stop and finish 1-2.

The fact Leclerc won neither of those race is genuinely insane 🤣

Your argument becomes more relevant when the regulations don’t massively change, but this year they have, and that’s the bottom line.

I’m more than aware and I will continue to post about what know is correct.

The drivers have a very important role, with both driving and making sure things are running well operationally, as we are repeatedly told that Lewis is trying to change behind the scenes things to suit his preference and to what bought success at Mercedes.

However, I will continue to push back on the narrative about drivers building cars. It’s a complete falsification of the truth.

I have never seen a narrative about a car being good/bad be laid on a driver as much as I have with the 2026 car with Lewis. To me, it seems like his fans just want anything good to be labelled as his doing, and anything bad the fault of others. You further prove this by distancing Lewis from the zero pods car. The fact is, this 2026 car is worse than the 2024 car, which is partly what I was disputing in the original post.

You don’t understand how largely irrelevant the drivers are. This has been said multiple times by me and others.

None of the drivers have any experience with these regulations, nobody knew what these cars required. It’s genuinely about a 95-5 split towards the engineering and design teams, and that 5% is being very friendly to the drivers.

Nobody blamed Hamilton for the awful zero side pods in 2022, as they shouldn’t, nobody championed Leclerc and Sainz in that same year for steering Ferrari out of the 2020 and 2021 slump.

This is an engineering sport and when these big regulation changes happen, the drivers are mostly pointless.

No, not irrespective of the regulation. When it comes to these big regulation changes there’s barely any difference between Hamilton and Alonso or a rookie coming out of F2.

When we don’t have the big regulation changes, a little more importance is placed on the driver, which is why Hamilton is almost as responsible as Leclerc for the 2025 Ferrari.

It’s just lying to yourself if you believe the reason for Ferrari having a solid few races this year is down to Hamilton. As I said, if it was the 11th fastest car, it would never be mentioned as anything to do with Lewis, so we need to move on from this falsehood.
