@TewksHitting I think you have absolutely nailed this.
I continue to be amazed at how kids improve in the task outcome or mechanics (whatever that actually means) when the coach creates the right environment.
The skills just emerge and thats a beautiful thing.
What a day of baseball ⚾️
Thank you to all the coaches from @greenwichgiants for inspiring young people to try a new sport ⚾️
Thanks also to the amazing sports leaders from @BexleyGSPE@HurstmereSchool
We couldn’t do it without you⚾️
Looking for something to do this weekend?
Why not head down to a community sports club and try a new sport, make new friends and have some fun

Over the next two weekends, the Margaret Borley Youth National Baseball Championships (YNBC) will see 32 teams from 14 clubs compete across five divisions.
This weekend (21-22 September), Farnham Park hosts U10’s, U12’s Shield, and U14’s, while the action shifts to Grovehill, home of Herts Baseball Club, on 27 September for the U12 and U16 championships.
Adding to the fun, T-Rex T-ball, a dinosaur-themed baseball festival for children aged 4-7 will run at Farnham Park on Saturday afternoon. Kids will learn hitting, catching, and throwing in a playful, roar-filled format presented by Will Lintern.
The YNBC is named in honour of Mrs. Margaret Borley MBE, who passed away earlier this year. ‘Mrs. B’, a member of the Cooperstown Hall of Fame inspired a generation of players and coaches at the Youth grass roots level and played a pivotal role in coaching young players who went on to represent Great Britain Baseball.

Congratulations to @GB_Baseball U23 and U18 Pitcher @owenbourgeois17
His relentless committment to his game and his education has brought him here. Only the 3rd D1 player from this island but an inspiration for many more in the pipeline.
Can't wait to see what he does next 🇬🇧
I am excited to announce my commitment to play baseball at The George Washington University. Very grateful to everyone who has supported me on my journey. Thank you to the GW coaching staff for giving me this opportunity. @TyKav12@CoachJennings44@tannersinicki21@RitchieGregg
