2026 6’9” forward Jayvon Rampersant had several good moments for Jet Academy during the Made Hoops Rivalry Showcase against the Oakland Soldiers. He ran the floor in transition, sprinting the lanes and getting out ahead of the defense, using his athleticism to finish around the rim. Offensively, his explosiveness and body control stood out as he finished through contact, absorbed bumps in traffic, and converted in tight space around the basket. He was also active on the offensive glass, where his timing, length, and bounce allowed him to attack missed shots, extend possessions, secure offensive rebounds in traffic, and create second-chance opportunities through effort plays. Defensively, he contested shots at the rim, using his length to disrupt finishes, challenge attempts at the point of release, and alter shots inside. Overall, he impacted the game in a variety of ways on both ends, finishing possessions, generating extra opportunities, and providing consistent production throughout the matchup while also setting a physical tone.
