A year ago I finally decided I was going to fullfill one of my dreams, publish a complete game on steam, and I'm pleased to announce that the 8th of July I'll release Unpaired Socks on Steam:

It did. Absolutely developed a ML/AI program to discern frame to frame movement of animated characters and how the lighting/shading should follow along. "KLaS".

Developed in 2015. A full 7 years before Midjourney V1 dropped. 6 years before DALL-E dropped.

That software generated bezier curves to control the lighting/shading. Then the curves were reviewed and massaged frame by frame by artists.

It's important to distinguish the difference between that form of ML/AI and the exploitative abusive and harmful general AI generative software we're pushing back on right now. Machine Learning has been useful for decades. Nuance is key.

"Il giornale “Il Fatto Quotidiano”, nella sua edizione di oggi, ha superato sé stesso nella definitiva mistificazione dei fatti. Il titolo «L’Italia in guerra senza dirlo agli italiani e al Colle» è falso, offensivo, ingannevole e gravissimo per la dignità del mio ufficio, il mio giuramento da Ministro, come per il Capo dello Stato, le Forze Armate, i cittadini.

L’Italia non è in guerra. Il Parlamento non è stato «escluso» da niente. Il Quirinale non è stato tenuto all’oscuro di nulla.

La presenza militare italiana in Arabia Saudita non è mai stata ‘segreta’. Sarebbe stato sufficiente consultare gli atti del Parlamento, dove più volte sono andato, come pure dove si sono recati anche il Capo di Stato Maggiore, il Comandante del Covi, il Ministro degli Esteri, i Sottosegretari alla Difesa, fornendo tutte le informazioni necessarie, e doverose, in merito a tale specifica missione.

Ed io non ho «minimizzato» l’attacco al nostro Eurofighter: l’ho seguito personalmente, l’ho comunicato ed ho chiesto le valutazioni operative sulla sicurezza del nostro personale. L’ho fatto di notte come di giorno, seguendo in ogni momento tutti gli sviluppi dell’attacco e sincerandomi, sempre personalmente, delle condizioni dei nostri militari.

Il Fatto sta solo fingendo di produrre un ‘caso’ che non esiste: mischia dati qua e là, missioni diverse e decisioni assunte secondo precise e regolari procedure, li mescola e costruisce una storia politica che quei fatti non dimostrano.

Infine, sulle navi nel Mar Rosso, una cosa è bene ricordarla: dottor Travaglio, Guido Crosetto non ha né possiede navi. Nemmeno un gommone. Le navi sono della Repubblica Italiana e della Marina Militare e operano nell’ambito di ASPIDES, una missione dell’Unione europea, con un mandato ben preciso sul quale ho scritto una lettera aperta e urgente all’Alto commissario Kallas, ieri uscita ovunque, ma che non vi siete neppure presi la briga di leggere.

La Difesa non è, né sarà mai, il giocattolo di un ministro. È un’Istituzione dello Stato, che può muoversi solo dentro leggi, mandati, procedure e responsabilità precise, definite, che passano sempre e comunque dentro il Parlamento e che solo questi può autorizzare rispettando leggi e Costituzione. Si può criticare il Governo. Si può criticare il Ministro. È il sale della democrazia. Ma raccontare agli italiani che il Ministro e il Governo li hanno portati di nascosto in guerra, tenendo fuori Parlamento e Quirinale, senza dimostrarlo con un solo fatto, non è critica. È mistificazione politica. E questa volta non passerò oltre e non fingerò indifferenza per rispetto della Repubblica, della Costituzione e degli italiani". Così il Ministro @GuidoCrosetto
