@XboxGamePass I was a massive advocate for gamepass but unfortunately you priced me out with the changes and adding things that don’t benefit me like Fortnite Crew. 😢
@quint_sal @lexamakuch@kwiggidy @Kaichan10425470 @mhdksafa No because the question was “income tax” … Income tax includes both Federal and State, and federal income tax is much higher than any state income taxes. It was ignorance, and what you’re saying doesn’t change that.
@AChap51@lexamakuch@kwiggidy @Kaichan10425470 @mhdksafa Yep, same here. Someone give me a refund for all these income taxes I wasn’t meant to be paying over the years! 😂
@lexamakuch@kwiggidy @Kaichan10425470 @mhdksafa All US citizens even those living abroad are subject to FEDERAL income taxes. A few states have no STATE Income tax, but you are quite mistaken.
@combatoverride@libsoftiktok Yes, I agree that from what I’ve seen if accurate, the amount of fentanyl coming across the border doesn’t appear to be significant. But, Trudeau’s reaction seems to be one which simply matches Trump’s ego and doesn’t help anyone. However, I think the USA has the upper hand.
@MaxQtum@politvidchannel I’m not saying I’d be happy with inflation. Which 25% increase is cost of groceries is not the same as 25% inflation by the way. They’re not the same thing. I thought a few of his promises were unrealistic, but he was still the better option. You can lower your tone 😂
@combatoverride@libsoftiktok So it’s who needs who more?/leverage
Seems like the sensible option is for Canada/Trudeau to simply having a bit of cooperation in addressing Trumps border concerns, whether you find his concerns valid or not.
@MaxQtum@politvidchannel lol okay **copout**
I’m skeptical that it will have that significant an impact, and I think there will be benefits to offset anything like that anyway. I won’t elaborate because I know you won’t care. But we saw that level of increase (25%) under Biden’s administration as well.
@MaxQtum@politvidchannel What groceries do we get from Canada? The USA produces more crude oil than it consumes, same for electricity. As for Tesla, they are best selling producer of EV’s in the world by a considerable margin. Maybe Canada will have to put off some of their goals around climate change.
@combatoverride@libsoftiktok From what I understand there is a trade off here. The USA needs infrastructure to refine oil from fracking, whilst other countries have a difficult time refining their oil. Canada isn’t really able to move their oil to many other countries easily anyway.
@combatoverride@libsoftiktok The USA produces more crude oil than it uses. 2023 figures are 20million b/d consumed. 8million b/d imported. 10million b/d exported. The USA will be okay.
@jond1986 @gameofequity @EricLDaugh 60% of imports. Okay.
In 2023 the USA consumed just over 20 million b/d … the USA imported a bit over 8 million b/d from 86 countries (Canada being just over half of that) … but the USA exported over 10 million b/d. You can do the math.
@vigilpamela1@greenmantel @gameofequity @EricLDaugh Imagine thinking that just because people hold different opinions and viewpoints to yourself that they must be uneducated and/or can’t read. Sounds to me like you’re a bigot.
@upinmyzone Part5: Tighter border security, yes please! Hopefully it helps with the fentanyl crisis. There are legal avenues for those seeking asylum/immigration.
