Paid for an annual membership to get "free" (read reduced) shipping. When I was paying per order, everything was on time, most of the time. I had few complaints. Now that I paid for "free" shipping, 3 out of 4 orders are arriving late--one will be a week late. Doesn't feel right.

Took some time off for the holiday. At the moment, I feel like I need more time. Why does that always make me feel guilty? It shouldn't. Take a break if you need one. If you're like me, you probably don't take enough of them to start with.

@tinasayward89 LOL. I saw Alexa & I thought A.I. There's many a story about A.I. and their infatuations. I laughed at myself when I realized Alexa was a char in your book. If I suspend disbelief, I could enjoy a story about A.I. who read a book and got upset that you killed off a beloved char.

@RabbitFiction What I'm trying to say is that you'll write fanfic if you are inspired to do so. But, if you are hesitating, maybe it's because it doesn't feel right. Maybe you were meant to create your own world for your story ideas.

@RabbitFiction It's happened several times. She'll come to me with fanfic & a block. I wonder each time if the block is because she wants to write it her way, and not be burdened by restraints of the original world. Only one work is moving ahead as fanfic. She had no blocks with that one.

Last night's dream was a doozy. I'm a bit offended by it. I thought I was making the right decision before an unpleasant crowd. I opted not to jump into a scalding shaft. I was rewarded w/ the threat of being locked up and forced into a psychiatric evaluation by my arch nemesis.

@detective_files He didn't have a choice where he was sent to. I think I would prefer not to know until I was there. It would feel more like the universe was guiding me, instead of me playing God.

@EmmaCBaird I wouldn't know. I refuse to wear contacts. LOL. If not, perhaps the character could be testing out an "All new" product if it doesn't exist IRL.

@EmmaCBaird If we're talking eye color, they could wear contacts. If we're talking sci-fi or fantasy, they could change eye color and even eye shape some other way. Colored contacts are not my cup of tea, but many people wear them.

@serialsemantic I think you'll find that you can, and should, target the adults. The teachers, parents, and others with small family members are always on the lookout for great ideas to show their kids. Advertising directly to children feels wrong.
