This week, Year 6 went to @ZSLWhipsnadeZoo
They were fortunate to take part in an exciting workshop where they learned how minibeasts are classified and got to hunt for some critters โ they found some super cool beetles.
We decorated cakes & explored 70 years of our school looking around our WAJ museum.
We were all so excited to go outside on our playground and make our 70 shape ready to be captured on our drone.
Huge thanks to our wonderful staff for making the day so special for our pupils!
William Austin Junior School celebrated our 70th anniversary last week and we had a lot of fun!
We had the incredible Circus Sensible @papaclive in who gave a truly entertaining performance as well as delivering workshops teaching circus skills!

As part of their English Persuasive unit, the Year 3 children went to @ZSLWhipsnadeZoo last week.
They loved watching the bears play fight and the penguins sunbathe. We can't wait to see the persuasive writing they create from this!
