When will it sink in? A sovereign country with nearly a thousand years of history is being abolished in a slow-motion revolution. I warned of this nearly 30 years ago, and all I got was mockery and patronising sneers.
After 18 months of “standing up to Putin” the Labour govt quietly issued a licence allowing imports of Russian oil refined in third countries.
Yesterday Labour MPs voted AGAINST UK oil and gas licences.
We are now importing from Russia instead of drilling in the North Sea.

This is so sad. Never seen this before.
House of Lords VERY low turn out for Kings Speech, many empty seats in the middle, so peers are being encouraged to spread out for the cameras.
Scene of decline.
This is completely mad.
Britain has no history of polygamy. It's been illegal to enter into a polygamous marriage in England since 1604.
When people come to this country, they should abide by our norms. Allowing them not to and then giving them taxpayer money for it is mental.

How many reforms to our political system, made in the name of ‘modernisation’, have tangibly improved the way the country is run? Apart from the Freedom of Information Act and creation of a few watchdogs, I’m struggling to think of any…
Today is the last day hereditary peers can sit in the House of Lords.
Despite their removal the House of Lords remains the only upper house of any bicameral parliament in the world to be larger than its lower house.

and i think this shows so called ‘working class’ hannah doesnt really get the working class traditions of the UK.
I have great respect for @jtworr and @SuellaBraverman - but have they actually read the curriculum? They want 60% of history to be British - the current curriculum has *more* British content than that. Our reforms made English schools the best in the West - patriots should say so
