@GreaterAngliaPR I passed my initial assessments with Southeastern Railway a couple of years ago (stays on file for 5 years as you know), awaiting an opening still. However, they did say we can apply to other TOCs, so do I just apply the same way as anyone else would do or is it different for me?

I just hope an opening appears soon for me to being my train driver journey with SE.

They were nice enough to allow me onwards travel for free in the morning & made the Ebbsfleet staff aware of me arriving.

Had police come round looking for someone as well that night, which I pointed them in the right direction about. So that was one good thing I guess.

Other people paid for taxis themselves but I had no money on me and my phone had died. So I spent several hours outside of Ashford International until the first HS1 service to Ebbsfleet
