That would restore the direct relationship between the experience and reward - though I don’t buy the “ you should still tip if you got good service of bad food”. Get a job somewhere better !

If they become non-resident then they may rent or properties may be held by offshore companies or trusts. Wealth taxes lead to capital flight and an investment drought.

Plus budding UK entrepreneurs would move abroad before starting up in a jurisdiction with confiscatory taxes.
