From the National Weather Service in Paducah: We have the potential for one or two rounds of thunderstorms this afternoon through tonight, both of which may produce severe thunderstorms. With multiple rounds of thunderstorms possible, there is also a flash flooding concern.

The Veterans Airport in Marion will be conducting a Full-Scale Exercise of a simulated plane crash on Sat, May 30th from 1pm to 4 pm. You will see emergency vehicles on the airfield and in the area.

Please do not report the this as an emergency on social media or notify 911.

Nixville Road will be closed to all through traffic starting Monday, June 8th, 2026, until further notice. The closure is at the bridge located 1 mile north of Route 13 and a quarter mile south of Meadowlark Road for bridge removal.

Please use alternate routes during this time.

Binkley Road will be closed at the bridge between Willow Pond Lane and Third
Street to all through traffic on Monday, June 1st 2026 due to bridge maintenance
work until further notice.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes while this work is completed.

Starting June 1st, 2026, Cambria Road will be closed at the intersection with West Grand Avenue due to the construction of a roundabout. This closure will remain in effect until further notice.

Please use alternative routes while the construction is ongoing.

Jochum Lane off of Galatia Post Road will be closed on Tuesday May 19, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. due to a culvert replacement.
