Using the iPad with SideCar to test iPhone Duo apps with the simulator is amazing, even better now that macOS 27 has better touch support 🙌🏻

Exploring 3 different spatial layout variations on iPhone Duo (vs. Safari layout)

V1 is the most workable compromise. Dropping the vertical bar leaves the top-left feeling slightly bare, but the core layout stays structurally intact.

V2 & V3 are tough to ship. The web is messy—the moment a page uses sticky navigation or floating bars, elements get completely occluded and become unclickable.

In theory, Apple/WebKit could handle these viewport edge cases much better at the rendering layer. Hope to see it addressed down the road.

Apple said that the new texture and grain controls in Photographic Styles will be available on the iPhone 16 & iPhone 17 Series!
