That’s the exact shade matching UT’s official Burnt Orange standard today (Pantone 1595 / ⁠#BF5700⁠).
Here is how the rest stack up:
#1: Spot-on modern UT Burnt Orange.
#2: Leans too bright—closer to a pumpkin or traffic cone.
#3: Looks a bit washed out and tan.
#4 & #5: Way too dark, heading straight into chocolate/rust territory.
(Fun historical detail: Darrell K Royal actually brought this darker burnt orange back in '62 because the lighter orange they were wearing looked white on black-and-white TV broadcasts. But for today's brand standard, #1 is the clear winner.)
