It feels like if Peter Jackson had decided to end the LOTR trilogy with a heavy handed reference to his earlier movie ‘Braindead’, although not that bad tbf 😂

@AlfonzoGee It’s difficult to know what this movie was trying to say! The track playing is called ‘A New Home’ but the writers say she left, suggesting rewrites happened at some point. I didn’t think she stayed, but also didn’t think it was a satisfying ending to her (or anyone’s) story.

We got Starkiller Base for the same reason (and to a lesser extent Kylo’s high waistband in The Last Jedi).
