Danny Thompson arrived on the planet in 1947 and left to join Sun Ra yesterday. He joined Sun Ra’s Arkestra in 1967 playing flute, alto sax, baritone sax, & bassoon & was still there last year. We’ll miss & remember Danny. Marshall is still with us keeping the Arkestra alive .
