I don't even have the words to describe this feeling, this expansion is genuinely incredible and this week as a whole has ended up being one to remember. Thank you to all the boys, especially the clanmates who helped us through each encounter. What a privilege this has been.
@ltzShadow Lack of loot incentive, weapon crafting burnout and champions dictating most of the weapons we use every season. I would say pvp being terrible but I gave up on that a long time ago and get my fix in better games.
@falloutplays Haven't enjoyed chasing weapons since crafting was added, they're going all on it with rng drops being pointless. Bungie deciding our seasonal meta through champ mods and not being free to use our own loadouts in end game. These two have just burnt me out personally.
I still firmly believe that Raid/Dungeon weapons should not be craftable whatsoever. As soon as players get the necessary amount of Patterns, the engagement in the "end-game" activity drops substantially. Being the most unique form of content, you want to keep engagement up.
@DefyFly Yes 100%, it's also just made the game feel super tedious for me personally. I miss the excitement of getting a 5/5 drop on a weapon. Craftable weapons should drop with the leveling system so if we get a good roll to drop we can level it and apply enhanced perks later.
@RogueXFPS Crafting has its benefits when RnG is totally against you so I get it, I just want our drops of craftable weapons to drop with the leveling system so if you get a god roll you level it up (using perks you enjoy) then go upgrade to enhanced perks for same cost
@RogueXFPS I would probably answer this differently every day but right now crafting is killing the game for me. RnG drops are pointless, yet getting a god roll drop felt way better to me than grinding red borders for x weeks then sit in shuro to level up.
@SaltagreppoD2 Can’t help but wonder what those conversations at Bungie are like, seeing as they probably already have something planned for it then. The reaction does concern me that they will hold off on a nerf but we’ll see.
@IFrostBolt As a hardcore raider I could not agree more with the points you make. Even if they continue this pattern, but reintroduce hard mode raids again with different, more varied mechanics to spice things up for the more experienced players, it would feel way better.
Hot, drama, controversial take inbound:
Any time a hardcore gamer suggests a change that favors them, it’s considered gatekeeping or elitist by casuals.
Ever think that - it’s the casuals gatekeeping the hardcore? Casuals can play it all. Hardcores want ONE thing & they’re bad?
@Duard0@DirtyEffinHippy@DrBunsenMD This is a fine example of why the raid should release the second or third week of season launch. It's not the date that I believe has annoyed a lot of people, it's the late communication of a major change to an event that only happens twice a year.
@DirtyEffinHippy@DrBunsenMD Totally understand where you guys are coming from with the changes. My only feedback is how late it's been left with no reasons stated in the TWAB. A month in advance isn't always enough for people to get time off.
Day 1 raids moved to Friday from Saturday. That is truly unfortunate. The pinnacle activity of the game being accessible to the most amount of people (Saturday) was really cool to see
Why is the raid releasing on a Friday?
This automatically takes so many people out of the running for worlds first and a fair shot at day 1 just because they have school or a job
Saturday made so much more sense…
Not happy with the TWAB. Raid 3 days after means bounty prep or afk farm are mandatory to be competitive. Not knowing the name also builds up 0 hype imo. PvP reenabling SBMM without first at least trying to remove/reduce the very strict lobby balancing isn't it either.
