Today, for the first time, a nurse told me it is standard procedure to do a pregnancy test before this procedure, therefore would I please consent to one. I feel respected and treated as an adult. This is a vast improvement. More of this, please! (2/2) @Leic_hospital

Normally, I need a hospital procedure of some description and at some point someone will ask me if I could be pregnant. I answer no, they insist on doing a test anyway, I feel disbelieved, everything's off to a bad start. (1/2)
