@JamaicaJane53@Robert_Wessels The reality is, we are saying if we were to be out of the ring, who lines up with the ideology of limited government. We are running our own campaign independently of Bush.
@realMGHein@Robert_Wessels It was once. Not repeated. And I recorded York, yet what he said there was drastically different. If I tell you one thing today and tell you something else tomorrow, would it be fair to say you attacked me verbally if you called me out on it?
Given the fact that Jim had inconsistencies on where he stood one night as opposed to the next, I believe that the word you are looking for is 'confrontation'. Jim took a very different stance at York compared to CSFM, and Robert called him out for it. Attacking is when you do something unprovoked, for the sole reason that you want to gain political points. However two things.
1. We've worked it out and are willing to acknowledge we have different stances on this.
2. Robert has never once made an attack on character, history, etc.
You'll never agree with me, but that's ok.
@WGME is trying to silence my campaign. Why? Maybe because I won't fund them with taxpayer money when I get in. Maybe because I won't kneel to their agenda. Either way, they've labeled my campaign as "Not significant enough" to participate in their upcoming debate. Share this campaign with your friends and family. Let's show the mainstream media that we won't be silenced.
We will enact a time-limited DOGE, which will be tasked with cutting various costs and sections of government.
We will cut these for starters off the top of my head: NET Energy Billing, which costs us $220 mil a year, Office of New Americans $15 mil a year, remove the 93,000 able bodied Mainers off of MaineCare. This costs us $330 mil a year without the federal matching.
We will work to restore/remove/amend these policies: Amend LD 221 which allows for the redirection of funds, repeal LD 633 (able bodied adults as aforementioned), repeal and work to give back from LD 1964 Paid family medical leave, repeal LD2224 72 hour waiting period. These are all specific item issues we will work and strive to enact to bring Maine back to a limited government. I hope this helps!
We had a wonderful day travelling the state yesterday! Met so many great people in Knox County, at the Fisherman’s Forum (although it seemed to be very few fishermen!) Then we finished the day at a wonderful Lincoln Day dinner in Auburn! 7 speaking opportunities and a spot on TV, a productive day on the trail! All the events had a full house! 🇺🇸🎉
