🚨 Jack Leiter - Pitching Tips (Part 1)
• Power from lower half rotation
• Upper half stays north-south
⭐️ The legs + hips create the power, the torso directs the power towards the plate.
If you’re wondering why the best hitters in the world can’t hit (.250) here’s your answer.
PARALYSIS by ANALYSIS
MLB hitters used to jump in the cage and take some swings trying to get right simply through repetition.
You would hear hitting coaches say things like “Stay back” or “Keep your front shoulder in” or “Use your hands”.
These guys have been playing most of their lives and they wouldn’t be where they are if they weren’t good at it.
But in today’s #mlb every swing has to be measured using technology and broken down to try and figure out how it can be perfected.
For a century and a half we’ve seen players with a variety of different swings be successful hitters and no one seemed to care how they did it.
We just loved that they did!
We love baseball because it’s the only sport where you don’t have to be a genetic freak to be a great player.
We’ve seen 5’6” players win MVP’s and overweight un athletic looking players excel and we loved it because it gave hope to the masses that they had a chance.
We’re removing the human element from our National Pastime and that’s the part we loved the most.
