This is how the debt clock looks like this evening.
Additional Ksh 2B today. It's never reducing. It's always increasing.

Trump paused USAID when he came to power and said, “Africans should handle African problems.” I wonder why the US wants Kenya, an African country, to handle their Ebola problem.

NOW let us go to PAGE 19.
Clause 36.
This is where the bill changes excise duty on phones.
The old rate was 10%. I have attached evidence below on the white snippet
The NEW proposed rate is 25%. I have attached a snippet, which is green below
TWENTY FIVE PERCENT.
And here is the biggest lie.
Mbadi claimed taxes were being compressed into one tax. But WHERE in the Finance Bill are these taxes repealed?
Import Duty?
IDF?
RDL?
NOWHERE.
They remain. A CS can't just say things, and they become law.
So Mbadi lied
Kenyans may have been ROBBED through fuel prices while the govt kept telling us “global factors.”
The 2025 Auditor General report, the OAG flagged over 6 issues with the G-G fuel system:
• “Unsupported premiums” → Meaning, extra charges/payments were added, but there was no proper evidence or justification.
• “Unprocedural nomination of importers” → Meaning Companies may have been selected improperly instead of through a fair and transparent process.
• “Unsupported existence and operations of escrow accounts” →Meaning, huge amounts of money may have been kept in special accounts without clear approval or transparency.
• “Irregular inclusion of legal costs and shortfall financing in pump prices” → Meaning, consumers may have been forced to pay extra at the pump for costs that should never have been included in fuel prices.
• “Unsupported demurrage costs” → Meaning, charges for delayed fuel shipments may have been added without proper proof.
Now think about this carefully:
Global fuel prices dropped significantly around that period.
But in Kenya, prices remained almost constant.
Govt would reduce fuel by KSh 1 or 2 and expect celebrations while Kenyans continued suffering under a brutal cost-of-living crisis.
So the question is:
Was this system being used to quietly milk Kenyans every single day?
I have attached evidence in the replies.
The CSs then were Davis Chirchir and Opiyo Wandayi, later

IMF has suspended negotiations based on the report.

This week, I didn’t even know the term shrinkflation.
Now I do, and I realise Kenyans have been living it for years.
Look at this:
KSh 5 biscuits
Used to be 5 big pieces → now 4 smaller ones
Ginger biscuits
5 pieces → now 3
Royco powder
KSh 5 → ~12g → now ~7g
PK chewing gum
KSh 5 → 5 pieces
Now 3 pieces… and KSh 10
Bread
500g → now 400g
Same money.
Less product.
And this is just what I noticed in a short check, there are many more.
Yet you’re told inflation is “going down”.
You people thought we were joking?
Here is the Supplementary Budget.
State House:
8.5 BILLION to 17 BILLION.
Yes. DOUBLED.
+8.9 BILLION added in ONE go, more than the entire original budget.
Meanwhile:
- Schools are struggling
- Universities are broke
- Parents are suffering
Education? Less than 15% increase.
So while Kenyans are told to “tighten belts”...
State House is loosening theirs.
This country is being taken for a joke.
