@HellfishHaven@infantrydort Id agree with this. Not a fan of Islam by any stretch buy also not a real fan of any organized religion. Dont you think a lot of it stems more from lawless 3rd world countries that would be hell holes anyway that then just use Islam as justification for their barbaric culture?
@GBNT1952 My main problem with the MOU is that Trump let IRGC drag Lebanon into it. Lebanon is not Iranian territory and should not be part if this. Also I sure wouldbe liked to have seen the IRGC or at least their missle corps disbanded.
@bonchieredstate The Governors agreeing to this are insane. Basically they are giving up their States sovereignty. Do they even believe in their States sovereignty to begin with or would they be good to just erase all the borders and just run everything from DC? I think we know the answer.
I said this on air with @J810Anderson this morning, but if we would just put our phones down, stop listening to what other people tell us to think about each other and go find out for ourselves, we will find that in reality we are all human, and the differences are minimal.
@PunishedAoi Nonfunded pensions are what collapsed some of our biggest manufacturing companies. It doesnt take long to end up with more pensioners than active workers and most businesses cant sustain that. RIP the American steel industry. Only the Govt can get away with that.
@BryBryStrick This is a FIFA regulated thing KC had nothing to do with it. We dont have the issue with Chiefs games do we? People always looking for something to bitch about.
@jeff_rosen88 Its what happens when you force people to do something instead of organically letting it happen. Shouldve just treated it like a normal Chiefs game and it wouldve been fine.
@FiredUpCoug I'd throw a high power bolt action rifle in. Like a .308 or similar. People questioning the .22lr need to check. Great for training also great survival rifle. Everyone should have one.
While FIFA continues allowing the Islamic Republic to compete in the World Cup, Iran’s star goalkeeper, Rashid Mazaheri, is sitting in an Islamic Republic prison.
His crime? Criticizing the regime.
@LUFC1992_v2 Dont forget other food while in KC. Strouds for fried chicken in North KC, Sandys in Blue Springs for diner experience, Big Biscuit for Breakfast, Garozzos for Italian, Cascones for anything, Grinders for a cheesesteak...lots of food besides BBQ. But definitely do the BBQ.
🚨🗣️New: Zlatan Ibrahimovic breaks down Moriyasu’s whiteboard genius vs Netherlands:
“I’ve seen a lot in football, big clubs, big egos, big money but what Hajime Moriyasu did against the Netherlands? That’s genius. Pure leadership. While the big European teams are busy with their fancy tablets and shouting into the noise, this man pulls out a simple whiteboard with giant handwritten numbers and outsmarts everyone. Respect.”
“Primary purpose? Time management in a roaring stadium. Shouting gets lost. But those oversized numbers — ‘45’ at half-time, then the countdown ‘3’, ‘2’, ‘1’ late on — every player, even the wide attackers far from the bench, sees it instantly. No ambiguity. When you’re trailing 2-1, that injects real psychological urgency. Japan stayed composed, recycled possession patiently, and surged exactly when it mattered. That’s smart coaching.”
“And analysts are right to speculate there’s a secondary layer. Those numbers could easily be pre-coded tactical signals — press intensity, formation tweaks, set-piece routines, or mindset shifts. Japan’s style is highly organized, almost scientific. There was even a brief flip with the wrong number shown, but it didn’t derail them. That’s discipline.”
Tactical impact? Massive. Psychologically, it gave Japan a focus edge. Clear time awareness prevented panic or complacency. The whole team felt the urgency together — perfect for Moriyasu’s emphasis on unity and tenacity. Defensively, their compact ‘honeycomb’ shape frustrated the Dutch despite all that possession. Substitutes like Ito and Ogawa delivered, and the late push produced the equalizer. The board helped them execute in the chaos while countering Koeman’s defensive changes.
Communication superiority at its finest. Analog beats tech failures or crowd noise any day. Visible across the entire pitch. It fits Japan’s adaptive philosophy — that post-2024 shift to a balanced 3-4-2-1. They earned a valuable point against one of the favorites and exposed a bit of over-conservatism late on.
Football isn’t always about having the best players. Sometimes it’s about having the smartest coach.
The Netherlands had more possession.
Japan had more clarity.
And clarity wins more matches than ego.”
