WES teachers got together for a Christmas Painting Party. The painting was hosted by Mrs. Bargatze and the painting was led by Mrs. Dill. We all had a great time and loved how different each persons painting turned out.
Wilson Elementary is well represented at the Elevate Conference this week! These Kindergarten and 2nd grade teachers will share what they learn with the rest of the WES team in August! Have a great time ladies.

Ethan received an honorable mention art award from MTSU. Mrs. L Davis and Mrs. Prewitt were celebrated for their 20 years of service at WES and their retirement. Mrs. Steagall’s eggs are hatching just in time for Summer!

Mrs. Bargatze collaborated with our fabulous art teacher, Mrs.Bohn to create 3D birds for their culminating task in our EL module on Birds Amazing Bodies. In addition to this, these bird experts wrote about what body parts help specific birds survive. @KeglerLisa@AnnHaley_RCS
Mrs. Kingston was recently recognized at the Rutherford County Teacher of the year banquet!

Mrs. L Davis and Mrs. Prewitt were honored last night for their upcoming retirement. These ladies deserve to be celebrated. They work hard and bring joy to the halls of WES You both will be greatly missed!! Thank you for all you have done throughout the years for our Spartans!
Mrs. Saad’s class has been learning how people can care for birds so they can live and grow. Today, these bird advocates built and decorated a bird house and planned out their writing for their How to Build a Bird House book. What a fun day in first grade! 🦅
Mrs. Smith’s fifth grade class had a Jurassic World TCAP review day. We hear they had a roaring time revisiting important skills. We know they are ready to show off their knowledge next week!
