Remember how political arrogance, personal attacks and internal power games consumed Azimio in 2022?

Junet's crude personal attacks on Ruto were one example of that toxic political culture.

Now we're witnessing the same pattern: plotting against potential partners, organising humiliations and treating allies like enemies.

In 2022, the ruling establishment's hostility towards Ruto and his supporters helped create sympathy for the opposition's rival. Today, sections of the opposition are replicating that behaviour against their own colleagues.

You cannot build a winning political coalition by destroying the very people you need to work with.

When will these people realise that internal sabotage is not a political strategy - it's a gift to their opponents? Or is the goal all along to gift Ruto a 2nd term? Because it makes no sense why anyone would plan traos for fellow opposition leaders.

The opposition needs unity, not fights.

I am beginning to understand why the Luhya community, despite being among the hardest-working people in this country, can be politically tolerated but not adequately accommodated or celebrated.

The Luo Nation has never heckled Kalonzo Musyoka.

Mt. Kenya understands the politics of gather all, scatter none.

The Kisii community understands that Kalonzo Musyoka is an important political partner in the formation of a government.

Raila Odinga was not stupid when he picked Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate. He understood the political value of partnerships, numbers and national coalitions.

Both Edwin Sifuna and Kalonzo Musyoka are Raila Odinga's allies. They are political comrades, not enemies.

But let nobody mistake Kalonzo Musyoka's humility for weakness.

You have constantly attacked him even when he kept quiet — calling him lazy, questioning his loyalty and throwing all sorts of insults at him.

We need to tell ourselves the truth. Hii kiburi tuwache! We cannot claim to be building a united opposition while disrespecting and attacking the very principals we need to work with. Personally, I have never seen DCP and Wiper supporters constantly attacking each other like this. What happened yesterday was wrong, and it must stop.
